Can a concert film get a crowd going like a live gig? These images from the Roundhouse tell their own story.

New photography and a 49-second highlights video have been released from Queen Budapest – The Concert Film Experience, which brought Queen’s legendary 1986 Budapest performance to London’s Roundhouse on Saturday 3 October.

With Freddie Mercury towering over the audience on the big screen, concert lighting sweeping the room and fans dancing, clapping and throwing their hands into the air, the night gave a classic Queen performance a fresh audience—and a very visible response.

Presented by Playback Live and Sony Music Vision, the experience brings concert film into a live music venue, giving fans the chance to share the excitement of an iconic performance together.

For anyone exploring the enduring pull of Queen, the appetite for shared music experiences or what concert films can become beyond the cinema, the new footage offers a vivid starting point.

Please get in touch for further information or to discuss a feature on the experience and the production behind it.
